saturday vignette: Confluence Park

A view of the overflowing Cherry Creek and South Platte River at Confluence Park in downtown Denver.

The last few weeks of heavy rain has gotten to people, I’m sure. There are a lot of Seattle quips going around. Dreary is not ordinarily a word one would use to describe the weather here. Predictably unpredictable, yes. Dreary, no. Fortunately, the sun decided to return this morning. I couldn’t wait to get out for a ride.

It’s starting to feel like Colorado again.
